Wooden Poles and Crossarms for Transmission and Distribution of electrical networks
The use of preserved wood guarantees a long useful life that significantly reduces maintenance, repair and replacement costs; therefore, it is one of the most attractive products in the market, with the virtue of being a renewable natural resource.
The purpose of the preservation process is to modify the physical-chemical constitution of the wood, making it immune to attack by fungi and insects. The industrial preservation process begins with the selection of the wood and its appropriate drying; then we resort to the use of an impregnation plant, where the preservative solution is introduced and the process begins, which can vary in its vacuum, pressure and temperature levels, as well as in its duration, in order to achieve the retention and penetration in the wood fiber, depending on its application.
We offer our products with 4 different types of impregnants that comply with international preservation standards and specifications, at the customer's choice: Creosote, CCA, Copper Naphthenate, DCOI.
At Forestal La Reforma, we don't just sell products; we build relationships.
